Vehicle Detail

1962 Chevrolet Nova Convertible. I have owned this car for 14 years and it is time to let someone else enjoy it. I have plenty of projects to spend my time on. Drive train: Chevy 350 and TH350 combo. The motor and transmission are spares that I had from a different nova project (oil pressure is very good on the motor and the transmission shifts well). B&M star shifter with new shifter cable. Aluminum radiator, single wire alternator, HEI distributor, Flowmaster exhaust. It also has manual disc in front/drum rear. The rear end is from a 64 Nova and is 5 lug. American racing rims 15s front 16s rear. I just put brand new tires (0 miles). Exterior: Fiberglass bolt on cowl hood, and new billet grille. I have about 90% of the trim. The convertible well trim is in the car, just not installed. I also have a set of fender scallops for it. There is some rust in the lower quarter panels. The metal around the door hinges and windshield frame is in great shape. The previous owner put some patch panels in the front floor pans but the rear floors are very solid. The rear bulkhead is also in great condition. The trunk also has some pinholes in it. All of the major structural points are in good condition. Interior: The interior is decent shape, no tears in the upholstery. Front buckets that are likely out of a chevelle or other car of similar era. Door panels are also in decent shape. The top portion of the rear door panels are missing. It has a CD player and a 3 gauge set that has water temp/oil pressure/ammeter. Top: The manual top is in fair condition, a couple of tears and the rear window no longer stays in. However, all boughs and mechanicals are there. I rarely put it up as it was a summer car for me. Please only bid if you are serious about buying the car. If you have a specific question that was missed in the above description, please make sure you ask. I will answer to my best ability. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs etc. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due 48hours after the auction end with the rest due before the car leaves my possession. Please also make sure to collect the car within 2 weeks of auction end.
