1982 Jeep CJ7, rust free, accident free, numbers matching. Jeep is in outstanding condition. Recently taken to bare metal, no body work or rust repair needed. Painted in AMC Captain Blue Metallic which was a factory color for the 1978 CJ's. DuPont base / clear paint used. Never abused, always garaged since rebuild, mechanically sound, runs great.On Jun-23-14 at 18:58:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention Jeep also has new starter and came from the factory with the optional 20 gal poly fuel tank. Added pictures of under carriage and steering linkage. (Sorry they are upside down, I cannot figure out how to rotate on iPad) Jeep did have an aftermarket front roll bar but when I added the hard doors you were not able to roll down windows. Window cranks would hit roll bar. So I removed the front roll bar because I also liked the stock roll bar look better. One the under carriage pictures you can see in the floor boards where we welded the front roll bar bolt holes when the front roll bar was removed. On Jun-23-14 at 19:37:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Also forgot to mention just pass CA smog test.After replacing catalytic convertor Jeep had an EVAP leak. Replaced fuel filler and vent hoses, retested and EVAP leak was fixed. With new catalytic convertor / tune up smog numbers are very low!
