Up for sale is my 2006 Porsche 911 C4S with 89590 miles. It took me a long time to find this car. I was originally looking for an M3 for a daily driver 100mile commute a day. after looking for an M3 for about 3 months I started looking in to Porsche 993 to have a more classic look and feel to my commute. What got me into Porsche is the 4 Wheel drive, being that it does snow here i wanted to make sure that i can go to work no matter what, M3 did not offer that option. So after another 6 months of looking for a 993 a friend suggested getting a newer model 997 with potentially less to take care of. That is what led me to this beauty. Black on Black, Chrono Package 3.8 Bullet! I got it this past December and drove straight home and put it in my garage and then came the snow. Lots and lots of snow. The End. No but seriously Porsche is not a 100 mile a day commute vehicle. I learned that the first day, A) Its beautiful so i never want to drive it. B) The roads out here after the last snow storm are not for a Porsche. C) It's a high maintenance vehicle so why risk it. Now understanding this I realize that its time to go our separate ways and let someone else enjoy this beauty potentially using it for a shorter commute. This car is beautiful in everyway. Don't let the milage fool you. I looked for this car for a very long time, and took it to a mechanic twice before I bought it. It is very well taken care of. there are no rips or tares on the interior. the engine works great. I have just changed all spark plugs and coils. new oil change, new oil separator, new air filter, new oil filter, and some small houses here and there (as i came across some that were drying up). Everything seems to be functioning as it should. IT IS CRAZY FAST, and with that said i never took it to a track or did i drive it past 80mph. By fast i mean if you give it juice it moves. As one of folks told me there is no ride like it. He was not kidding. Previously to me there was just one owner, whom was very wealthy and took care of this car well. There are quite a few records for the work that he did all by porsche dealer with receipts attached. There is no sign of RMS or IMS which is what worried me while i was looking for one. Its all clean. And to be honest if it was bad it would have happened by now. The Clutch seems to be relatively recent. It could use tires, good quality tires these are not bad. I would say they have 1/2 thread left if not more but i heard that with better tires it would be a better safer ride. The oil pressure and oil temp is as it should be. To be honest i didn't feel much heat from the front seat warmer but that could be a fuse. If I was to keep it I would change front shocks, they are good but i think it will be time soon to get something a bit better maybe Blisteins. Other then that its a Black on Black Chrono Package. Gets allot of attention! when you drive this car its like being a celebrity. guys in BMW just don't get that. Porsche is Class. Please ask away if you have any question.
