1965 Dodge Polara Mopar Convertible Restorable w/ 383 Runs Project Car This car is a great base for a restoration project, sold as is the car was running but quit and starter is hit or miss, takes a shot of ether to run perhaps from having old gas in it. Transmission has a leak and goes low on fluid level, I added fluid and then it went into gear but was till sluggish in Reverse, not sure if there are bigger issues or if it just needs the leak fixed....the front edge of hood is dented and shows rust there, front of RH fender is dented, front hood moulding needs attached properly, the front bumper marker lights are not attached, the coolant reservoir has a broken mounting tab. The radiator has been soldered, fenders and several other spots on body are solid but show paint flake and rust in small areas. looks like it was repainted many years ago and shows small signs of body work having been done then. The front vent windows are caulked closed and the handles for opening them were removed. The sun visor need recovered, the door panels show some waviness. drivers door does not open from the outside, the door key does not work so there is none, ignition is replaced as old one went bad and did not fit dash properly and is hanging at floor, ignition wire under dash shows some melting, this is probably why the old one went bad...wiring in dash looks OK except that one,there is a same colored wire outside firewall that shows a melt also.....steering wheel has some cracks and missing material and dashboard pad has cracks as well....convertible top is manual and goes up and down well, the sail panel areas on the top show tears on both sides. RH rear 1/4 window regulator is bad and the glass need reattached to the framework/seal strip...radio is missing, underside looks like it was undercoated and in good shape, frame is solid. flooring carpets show fading and wear, seat upholstery looks good....intake number is 2205737, we believe that is a 383 and carb is a 2bbl............Car obviously needs a lot of work but there is already a lot to work with....PLEASE REMEMBER IF YOU MAKE AN OFFER AND WE ACCEPT IT WE ARE EXPEXCTING YOU TO FOLLOW THROUGH, SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY, CAR IS SOLD FOR LOCAL PICKUP AND MUST BE PAID FOR AND PCIKED UP WITHIN 7 DAYS OF SALE........TITLE IS READY TO TRANSFER AND MUST BE PUT INTO SOMEONES NAME AND TIME OF PICKUP OR PRIOR TO TRANSPORT, IT CANNOT BE LEFT OPEN.....PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS OR EXPRESS ANY CONCERNS BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER...PAYMENT IS CASH IN PERSON OR SECURE WIRE TRANSFER, NO MONEY ORDERS, CASHIERS CHECKS OR PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED
