1973 Datsun 240z – Second Owner – 43K original miles Son is heading to college so father and son project car has to go. Purchased the car in September 2013 from the original owner who had it garaged (not running) for 14 years. Mechanically rock solid with replacement and repair items listed below. Have complete service records for car back to 1973 including the original bill of sale. Kept all the original parts replaced on vehicle (flat top carbs, wheels, etc.) except for springs. Daily driver which runs great and holds the road tightly. Less than 4K miles on restored engine and suspension. Needed restoration items are all cosmetic as listed below. Two non-driving accidents items have been repaired. Driver’s side door was dented by original owner in garage and hood was dinged by trailer hitch on public street. Same accident damaged front bumper beyond repair (pictures included) as core is not salvageable. Car is rust free except for paint bubble behind driver side rear wheel which has been repaired. Great car for collector or daily driver but not appropriate for Colorado ice and snow driving. Also included in sale is MSA performance exhaust which we installed, didn’t like and re-installed original exhaust. Full payment is due within 3 days after the end of the auction, no exceptions. Payment is via bank transfer or cashier’s check only. Shipping Shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
