Reluctantly offering for sale my 2001 Audi A6 Quattro. I'm the second owner, purchased it from the original local owner. The car has been well maintained and has been my daily driver for over 6 years. I basically inherited a fairly new car, or I'd keep this one for considerably longer. Title is clear and in hand Everything on the car works as it should, with the exception of the LCD display in the center of the dash. When the car is cold, the LCD works properly, when the car interior is quite hot, the display fades out. It never bothered me enough to do anything about it. The interior is gray cloth, with no rips, tears or issues The exterior is red (fairly rare, I've never seen another A6 this color) and the paint is in reasonably good shape. The left side of the car is almost perfect, the right side has a light scrape on the front fender, down low. Above and low behind the right rear wheel arch is another light scrape. See last three pictures. There is a small rock chip star down low on the windshield. Apparently it happened within a month of the original owner's purchase of the car. He had it repaired by Safelite (receipt available) and it has not been an issue since I've owned it. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country. There are no check lights on on the dash, all and as I've said, with the exception of the LCD, every system on the car works as it should. Car really needs nothing. I did all the maintenance on the A6 myself since I was trained as a tech. Major maintenance includes: Timimg Belt Service (includes water pump, idlers, timing belt and serpentine belt and new coolant, oil seals and valve cover gaskets) @ 102,200 miles 8/2009Transmission Service (includes new fluid and filter) @120,190 9/2011New upper and lower front control arms @ 127,750 5/2012New spark plugs and ignition wire set @ 127,750 5/2012New Continental ProContact tires @ 129,000 6/2012Exhaust system flex pipes replaced: driver side 2011, passenger side 2012ABS computer repaired by Module Master (typical Audi problem) 11/2012 CVJ Boot tore on one front axle, so I replaced both with NEW (not remanufactured) axles @136,103 3/2013Front lower control arms were replaced AGAIN @142,095 9/2013 as the previous set started making noise. Also installed new driver side outer tie rod end.New coolant resevoir 2/2013New electric auxiliary coolant fan 6/2013Right rear window regulator and motor 8/2013New water pump, coolant and serpentine belt @147,880 5/2014 Oil filter and synthetic oil at 3000-3500 mile intervals.
