This is an excellent Speedster with just the right look and equipment. It has been lowered - front end rear- for just the right stance. It has 1926 wire wheel and rebuilt engine and transmission. Has been converted to 12 volt so starts like new and has a bosh distributor for reliability.Engine completely overhauled including:· aluminum pistons · re-bored and new rings · dipper rods · new bearings · improved cam shaft · extra oil line · aluminum left and right panels · aluminum oil pan, transmission cover and aluminum radiator hose · high compression aluminum “Ricardo” head · water pump · rebuilt carburetor and dash choke · push button electric start, andWinged radiator cap and heat gauge. It has a new battery. The transmission has new bands. It also has an expensive Warford 3 speed transmission behind the regular “T” planetary transmission. This gives it both higher and lower gears. Also it has a high speed rear end for nice cruising in the middle Warford gear. Vintage optional equipment includes a spotlight, dash light, and expensive Ross steering gear, a brass clock, and a very expensive early electric speedometer. It also has a period correct exhaust cutout. There is a model “t” horn an optional tail light. The monical windshield helps redirect wind.The car has a clean 1924 Michigan title. It drives well and there are several companies that sell every part you will ever need to keep it running, at reasonable prices. Overall it is in very nice condition. However, it would benefit from some refreshed paint or clearcoat – if you want it to look shiny. These Speedsters were the original Hot Rods. Many “Ts” were modified like this one to both have sporting fun and to race at County fair horse tracks.Ford Model T’s are quite reliable if you keep the RPM at reasonable levels. I have driven it on freeways, but one should probably keep the speed below 55 mph. The Car takes up little space in the garage because it is only about 5 foot wide and 10 ½ foot long overall.Car is located in Plymouth, Michigan near main freeways. .
