1976 Triumph Bonneville

This Triumph came east from California with it's previous owner in 2002. it was a rider, carbs were giving him a bit of trouble and he put it in the basement with intention to restore it, then unfortunately he became ill and passed away. I think the photos give a good idea of the condition, from sitting for the 12 years the engine is stuck. I squirted in a bit of Marvel Mystery oil but haven't tried hard to kick it over as I don't want to break any rings- so assume it will need a hone and ring job along with going through the carbs. tires hold air but are old and should be replaced, wheels are in good shape. there is also a nice set of leather saddlebags, not dried out or scraped up. wouldn't take all that much to get it on the road- tank is very nice, has not been repainted, this is what it was like when he brought it out from California.
