A classic and a fixer upper. This 1978 postal jeep has many miles but still has many more to go. When a jeep or "truck" built pre 1990's was built, it was built to last. The drivers seat is on the passengers side there is a mail tray on the "drivers" side and is an automatic transmission. The engine runs great. Replaced water pump and had new fluids added. Transmission needs work will go in reverse but not forward past 10 - 20 mph with out giving a lot of gas. Very low MPG. If you are not looking to rebuild this jeep you can purchase for parts. The body and frame are in very good condition. There are a few rust holes in the body but nothing a little putty cant fix. Inside cab there is the original headliner and insulation, All lights work including the dome light inside. The speedometer, oil, battery charge, and odometer work but the gas meter is either stuck or no longer works. Roughly takes about 12 - 15 gallons of gas. E-break works, as wells as windows moving up and down manually. Both doors lock and the back doors has a padlock to keep locked.
