1945 GMC COECab Over Engine You are looking at one of the finest custom built GMC COE out there for sale today! It Started out as a 1945 GMC tanker fire truck. The gentleman I purchase it from hand built this truck from scratch, He fabricated the cab mounts to accept more a modern frame & driveline. The driveline is from a GM Step Van, 133" Wheel Base with GVWR# 20,000 with Dual rear wheels. The Engine is a tall deck 427 Chevrolet Truck Engine, It has been completely rebuilt and has approximately 16,000 miles since it was redone. The transmission is a TH400 with a Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive witch works perfectly! It has a full custom PPG Magenta & Silver paint job that was done when the truck was completed. In the cab is a full custom Grey Tweed Interior, Vintage air keeps you cool or warms you up on the hot & cold show dates.
