Vehicle Detail
We have owned this car since 2002 where we located it at Nationals North. The build had just been completed when we bought it. The only noticeable changes we have made were the top, '32 headlamps with turn signals and bright taillamps instead of the Blue Dots. Blue Dots just don't show up as well. The car started with a Kilbourne body wih all metal support. It is supported by American Stamping rails with a Tube center section and fully boxed. The front end is all Heidts Polished Super -Ride in stainless. The TCI 4 bar holds an 8 inch Ford rear with 2:79 ratio and chrome coilovers. Also out back is a 14 gallon "Tanks" fuel tank. Up front the 4 piece hood by Rootlieb covers a Walker radiator with a 16 inch electric fan. You cannot get this car hot! Both spreader bars and the grill insert are stainless. Steering is handled by a GM column with tilt, key and shift lever topped with a LeCarra wheel. The windshield is a one piece unit. The top by Sid Shavers is designed to be disassembled and carried in its travel bag but we have always left it together and left on a rack in the garage. The motor is a Chevy 350 with a cleanup to 355 cu in. Polished intake Edelbrock carb w/electric choke, chrome alternator and brackets, as well as aluminized exhaust. The trans is a GM 350 also. Coker tires on Steel wheels with '41 covers and beauty rings. Paint is single stage PPG black and all pinstriping is paint. Why are we selling? It is time for a change as we have keep this vehicle longer than any other. Good luck bidding and you wont be dissatisfied. Come drive it home for Fathers Day! One more thing--The car is titled as a 1932 Ford so you have no emmission related worries.
