For sale is a very clean 1998 eclipse gs-t, the transmission shifts good, the clutch works properly, and it drives and brakes straight at highway speeds. The previous owner swapped out the bottom end of the motor with a 6 bolt because they have a stronger crank as well as a 1st gen. intake manifold for better air flow. It has a 14b Mitsubishi turbo and a after market intake tube. The bad part is that it needs motor work. It leaks oil, from what i can tell its coming from the oil pan gasket but i am not a mechanic. I recently had a possible buyer bring a mechanic with him. The mechanic thinks that it has a bad piston because it has a slight knocking sound. He stated it should be $400-$800 dollars to repair. It starts up and can easily be driven onto a trailer for transporting.
