For bid here is a 1967 Plymouth VIP fastback. I am the third owner of this car, and removed it from a barn in 2012. It had been there since 1989 with the exception of one weekend where it was removed by trailer and put on display for the weekend of the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle PA 2007. The car was bought new within 15 miles from here, and was owned by my father's high school friend. It runs and drives and was running in all of the photos shown here, taken on 5/26/14. It is solid overall with some rust but very workable. It has some issues as would be expected for sitting so long, but is 99% complete and has a clean PA title in my name. I believe the engine to not be original due to a note on the original owners manual that it had a 1979 318 installed in 1984. There are several other service notes dating back to 1968 and a few receipts that will be included with the car along with the manual. The certi card can be seen under the hood. It has a 727 automatic transmission and an 8 3/4" rearend. The car has wear and tear as shown and will need work but is surprisingly intact and original. It was kept covered in the barn, and was driven up until 1989. It will run and drive but I do not recommend driving home and it should be trailered. The carburetor is very tempermental especially when cold. I have replaced the fuel pump, sending unit, intake gaskets, and normal maintenance items. The brakes were completely redone 4,000 miles before it was parked, and still work well. It will need a battery as I had one in from another car.
