Vehicle Detail
Senior Citizen selling my excellent and very collectable Honda Scrambler. This is an all original bike that even has all the original stickers. Runs, starts, and rides like new. Odometer shows less than 1000 miles, but speedometer cable was probably broken once and undoubtedly has quite a few more. The Scrambler is rarer than the “black bomber” CB version and this one has a like new exhaust. Original seat has some minor repairs, the paint has been retouched some, and there are small dents at the front edge of the tank and the headlight brackets. Overall looks very good. It will cruise all day at 75 mph with less vibration than a CB350. Eligible for cheap antique insurance and historic plates. Should have new tires (may be original) and there are small defects on front fender. Comes with one new tire and an extra front fender. Does not have rear turning signals. These Hondas were among the first double cam motors and have high tech torsion bar valve springs with overall Honda bullet proof reliability. It doesn’t smoke or burn oil and should be good for many enjoyable miles. It has a brand new battery. Electric plus kick Starter, clutch, carbs and 5 speed all good. Gas tank is very clean. You can still get all parts for these except for the exhaust, and the exhaust alone on this one will soon be worth $2000 by itself. This Honda has lots of chrome and draws attention. It will keep up with an original Triumph 650 at a lot lower cost – plus the electric start is always a benefit. Pick up only in Plymouth, Michigan. Clear Michigan title. Requires Paypal payment.
