I got this car on trade for a motorcycle i was selling i dont know a heck of allot about it i did drive the car 50 miles to my home and the car goes down the road very well here is the little info i know of 82 pontiac trans am rebuilt 350 punched out to 350 rebuilt heads and valves reseated stock 70s block bored .30 over think that makes it a 355 now has a saturday night special cam (unsure on this one but it is cammed its lopey) holly intake simalar to the the edelbrock tourqer edelbrock carb msd box in pics no longer on vehicle stock hei ignition is on now new pistons rods and bearings were put in the engine when rebuilt engine currently is still in the break in period so it will need some final ajustments befor you go all fast and the furious with it. will need timing set perfect rockers ajusted carb set perfect I have a set of SHORTY headers for the car currently is running the stock GM manifolds the exhaust is super quiet my wifes saturn is louder and then its ready to race has a pontiac 4 speed transmission the clutch was brand new when engine put in so 500 miles on that also body is in good shape for a 82 not rusty at all what so ever very small spot about the size of your finger nail starting on the drivers side wheel well but im pretty sure the car has (some) bondo. a quick look under the car looks like the floor boards are rust free but again not sure on that. has a hurst shifter nice wheels and tires AIR BAGS in the rear to help jack it up and give it the Hot rod Look pioneer detachable face cd player sunroof the car runs and drives good right now but as stated befor its still in the break in period since the engine was rebuilt so id probubly just drive like a sane human being for another 1500 miles befor i start doing burnouts every where i go. new owner can drive it however they want I am not a mechanic and dont pretend to be one.
