1965 Ford Mustang 289 V8 GT Clone - LOW RESERVE! Recently painted candy apple red with white racing stripes, and red interior. Seats are in good condition.. Runs and drives, good looking inside and out. 289 V8 engine and c4 automatic transmission was rebuilt prior to my purchase. Hurst ProMatic shifter, dual exhaust, POWER STEERING pump has just been replaced, manual brakes, and the tire tread is still good. New door latches and striker plates on both doors. Chrome is good, and interior is in good condition although the interior door panels need to be properly fastened. Frame rails, floor pans, and torque boxes seem to be fine, although I'm certainly no expert.. VIN's match.. I bought this car over a year ago for my son, who was 15 at the time. This type of car craves attention and and constant tinkering. Now that he's 16, while he loves the look of this classic beauty, he now prefers a more modern and dependable daily driver. I recommend you either come see it in person or have it professionally inspected prior to purchase.
