Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1962 Chevy C10 fleet side short box. It has a six cyl engine with a manual transmission on the floor. It does not run. I was told by the previous owner that it ran about a year ago when he parked it. The front windshield has been shot by vandals and has holes in it. The drivers side was shot and is out of it as well. I tried getting it to start by cleaning the carb and putting a new coil on it but I was unable to get any spark. It may be a simple fix. I know enough about vehicles to be dangerous. As you can see in the pictures it has some rust and dents. The gas cap is gone due to the vandals as well. It does turn over well and the brakes do work. I do have a title for this truck but it has some issues. The upstanding citizen I bought the truck from decided he didn't want to pay taxes on it and jumped the title so when I received the title 3 weeks later from him it was signed by the person who owned it before him and my bill of sale I got from him that day was signed and dated by him. Needless to say the gal at the treasures office was not impressed. Since then I have not been able to get ahold of the dead beat, so I am stuck with a useless title. It may be easier if the winning bidder just applied for a new title. If you have anymore questions on this please feel free to contact me. If you look at my feedback I will have one bad response. I sold a car for a friend. the winning bidder claimed the car was misrepresented. He states the car had mice infestation and holes in the seats. He was from the city and must not of put 2 and 2 together when I said "The car has been sitting in a barn for over 15 years" The "mice infestation" was a mouse nest on the intake of the engine. It was missed when my friend took pictures of it the first time. It was easily removed and there was no more signs of mice after that. Next was the holes in the seats. There was one hole in the drivers seat that my friend did not see. It was so small you couldn't put your pinky finger in it and it was in between two seems. So I guess what I'm getting at is this truck like my friends car has been sitting and does not run. It is not perfect and I encourage anyone interested to come inspect it for themselves. Please contact me by phone or ebay message with any questions or to set up a time to look it over. Thanks for looking Tyler 605-858-3723
