Beautiful 1975 Renault 12 TS (1289 cc engine) with Gordini looks and tow hitch. I found this cool R12 in the Mid part of France while visiting my friend in Cavallion near Avignon# Being a car enthusiast, I spend my spare time looking for cool cars and this great R12 came across# This car reminds of my childhood in Colombia where I grew up with Renaults as my dad had a good share of Renaults 4 and 12. This car was located 2.5 hours away from where I was staying so I hoped on my friend's van and we went to see the car which once we saw it we immediately liked it. We inspected the car and saw that it had been in a minor front accident but despite that we checked it all out and took it for a test drive which sealed the deal to buy it. The car was repainted approximately 5 years ago by the previous owner who wanted to make it an R12 Gordini. The stripes and wheels along with the blue metallic color give this cool R12 a great sporty look. The R12 runs and drives very well; in fact, we took it about a month ago on the Anti Football Run along with many other vintage cars# We ended up driving 100+ miles through hills and straight roads with out any problems; the car kept up nicely. The car's condition: Runs and drives very well Transmission shifts smoothly Brakes well All glass in good condition All lights working good All window regulators working good All doors, hood and trunk close with out issues Seat upholstery good; I think that there might be a small tear in one seat Headliner good, no tears (it was painted in France) All gauges work Original carpets are in decent shape. Tires are nearly new Wheels in great shape Clutch good Cibie lights are not hooked up; need to be wired.
