Up for Bids is a 1967 Ford Ranchero. Needs restoration. Starts, Runs, Drives and Even Stops! I bought it over the winter to get it running and have a second vehicle, but my life agenda has changed and now i will no longer have the time for the attention she needs, so rather than have her sit for years until i do, I am letting her go. She has 61XXX ORIGINAL MILES!!!! yes that is correct, 61K original miles on the car. that's only 10k a year if you break it down. The car was restored a few years ago, according to the previous owner, back in 2007, but it need some restoration. Yes there is bondo, yes there are some welded steel panels in the bed. the car has the original factory drum brakes all around.I just got the car running, installed a new 12 volt alternator, replaced a rusty fuse block with a new one, fixed a window that would not roll up and replaced a broken turn signal switch on it and took it for a few test rides to make sure that everything works. She starts right up and drives there is a few small holes in the floorboards on the driver side where they are notorious for rusting out, the good thing is, is that there is a double floorboard there so there is some support. the replacement weld-in floorboard can be found here on eBay for around $60. She needs about $200 to 400 in replacement front end parts to get her to pass inspection and to be safe. I have the rear license plate light, but have yet had time to put install it. head lights work, high beams work, turn signals work. horn works, fan works. wipers work. Dome light works, clock works. I do not know if the radio works, there are no speakers. Speedometer works. transmission shifts from R to N to D to 2 and 1. it has a bunch of the emblems in the glove box. All in all, you could have a nice runner for a few bucks and with minimum work. Pleas ask any questions before bidding.
