1962 Cadillac coupe Seville retired gm engineer decided to customize a car for grandson to emulate the bat mobile as he loved the character from 1960s tv show.car started out life as a 4dr sedan which is where custom project began as told by wife.he had show quality body shop begin on closing off back doors,shaving handles.after that he moved to front end where front bumper was split and grille extended added composite headlights and turn signal markers from 90s lincoln town car(they are fully functional).then to rear of car where trunklid from 70s Lincoln mark5 continental wheel was incorporated to 62 decklid.after that buckets and console from 88 Cadillac Eldorado was put in place of bench seat to facilitate rear seat entry.mechanically car was refurbished ,brakes,gas tank,exhaust,water pump,front seal in trans,car is fly-in-drive home.car was used while still being reconditioned then owner got sick and car was garaged till his death 2 years ago.since his passing grandson was broken hearted and car was reminder of days gone by thus the sale,dash and carpet are good original,no expense was spared in the project,car gets more looks at red light than any car I have ever seen and is a show stopper at local cuise night drive-ins.if your looking for a 1 of a kind conversation piece this is it especially if your a Cadillac enthusiast.
