Vehicle Detail
1971 Honda CB750 a true barn find, UNRESTORED ORIGINAL. Bike was built in 1971, titled a 1972. This bike has 5300 actual miles. I bought this bike from the original owner’s family three years ago, with all the original paperwork from the dealership. I was told he rode the bike for a few years, he fell over with the bike and dented the tank, and he didn’t ride much after that. He passed away and his son drove the bike very little throughout the years just enough to keep it up and running. Everything works great on the bike. Original seat is not ripped, does not leak oil, no engine smoke. The chrome is in excellent to very good condition, the rims have little to no pitting. The bike could use a good cleaning from setting for years. I bought it to restore, but don’t have the time. The mufflers are the HM300 original to the bike. The top left muffler has a small rust hole next to the seam about ¼ - ½ inch in size. Baffles are there. Other than that chrome is in really nice condition, little to no bluing. The carbs could use a good cleaning. Due to that, the throttle sticks a little, but still runs good. The paint is in great shape for the year, very little fading. There is one small paint blemish on top of tank. The dent can be popped out, without painting according to a Paintless Dent Repair Company to keep original paint. This bike would be an easy project with not much money put into it and you would have a great original bike. Have clear title, tool kit, owner’s manual and two vintage helmets that original owner bought with the bike.
