The La Grange, Cook County, Illinois Police Department is offering the following vehicle for sale by auction: 1999 Chevrolet G1500 Express Van with a mileage of 113,405 miles This is a seized/forfeited vehicle and MUST be sold according to Illinois law; it MUST be sold in an auction-type setting such as eBay. There is no Buy-It-Now option. We will not accept any trades for this vehicle. The vehicle is being sold AS IS and with NO existing warranty, neither express nor implied. NO returns will be accepted and NO price adjustments will be given. The vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder after the initial starting price has been satisfied. There is no reserve on this vehicle. The vehicle has a silver outer paint job with a custom design. The interior is gray cloth with vinyl/wood grain throughout. The vehicle's tires are as follows: NS All Sport 295/35R24 M+S N-990. The vehicle has no major visible damage outside or within. the vehicle shows normal signs of wear-n-tear (minor dings, dents, scratches), but nothing major. The vehicle is equipped with the following: power windows, power locks, A/C, front/rear defrost, AM/FM stereo with cassette player (dashboard), cruise control, multi-cigarette lighter adapters, interior roof lighting, rear A/C and fan controls, rear stereo/cassette player controls, reclining front and rear seating, comfortable seating for seven persons. PLEASE NOTE: The vehicle has been in inside storage since 2009. At that time, all lights/signals/electronics appeared to be working. The vehicle has not been started in several years, so we CANNOT guarantee that all electronic components are in working order. The vehicle will need a new battery (dead), a tune-up, a flush of all fluids due to the vehicle sitting for several years, and a good cleaning. The vehicle, however, appears to be in very good shape and ran well several years ago.
