I am a mentor for two 7th graders and one 8th grader. This is our 1st project together. I think it came out real nice. The engine number is QA50E-A and below that is A171184. New reproduction parts include the fenders, cables, re-upholstered seat, air box and decals. The bike was taken apart with the exception of splitting the cases. We learned glass beading on the wheels ( new bearings, brake shoes, tubes and tires) then repainted them plus clear coat. The frame was hand sanded then repainted and clear coated. The muffler ( original in excellent shape with a small dent on the bottom which doesn't show in the photos) was sand blasted and repainted. The carb was rebuild and the thing started right up. It has excellent compression. I've read there was some problem with the bike coming out of 2nd gear. After riding it none of the boys reported any problems shifting. I know some owners like to place their own decals. They are included for the fuel tank, front fender and exhaust. I will place them for the winner of the auction if so desired. Bidders with feedback less than 10 need to contact me prior to bidding. The same for any overseas (to include Canada) bidders. This bike is sold for personal use only. E-bay makes you fill in the space stating what kind of title it has. There is actually none but it will come with a notarized BOS. The bike will also be advertised locally.
