Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a very rare and beautiful 1969 Ford Cobra Formal Roof that was delivered new in California and where it spent most of it’s life. This is a Beautiful Car, One of the Nicest 69 Ford Cobra Cars you will find. One year only production mid size FORD COBRA car based on the Fairlane body offered in a 2 door Hard Top Fastback or 2 door Hard Top Formal Roof . The only badging on these cars were FORD on hood & trunk and the Cobra Snake & Cobra nameplate on each front fender, Cobra Snake & Cobra Nameplate on rear body panel of the Fastback or on the deck lid of the Formal Roof cars . These cars do not have the Fairlane or Torino nameplate any where on them. Only one Engine was offered in these cars 428 Cobra Jet R-Code or Q code. The Q-Code was the Standard Base Non Ram Air Engine without Scoop. This particular car here that I am offering for sale is a very nice car that was restored about 20 years ago so it's completely sorted and was always garaged. It has many of the hard to find usually missing items such as Exhaust Manifolds , Air Cleaner, 735 Carb , Fan Blade , 31 spline Rear W/ Nodular Case, Correct Trans w/R servo & Cast Iron Tail housing, 428 Cobra Jet Engine with solid cam so it is very responsive. This Car is an Q-Code, Automatic C-6, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, 3.50 Detroit Locker. Look at the pictures close & read the Marti Report carefully, It tells all about the cars and their originality, statistics, and options. The man that originally restored this car did a very nice job on the car & spent a lot of money. This is a very nice car that looks and runs beautifully with a couple of paint blemishes that you have to look for (see pictures in Photo Bucket).
