100% functional mechanically and electrically. Complete motorcycle. (exception of the battery cover, I made a new one out of wood. Also no original internal air cleaner filter, now there is a k&n style filter inside the air cleaner box.New Battery, tires, turn signal relay, rectifier, cables, petcock, brake shoes, ignition switch, points, ignition coil, condenser, spark plug, rubber shock boots, and rubber grips on pegs and shifter. Tank was cleaned and then sealed with Caswell Tank Treatment. It wasn't bad though originally, no leaks or heavy rusting originally.Engine was just gone over by a mechanic, Motorcycle Symmetry in Reading, total top end engine job. Everything looked good but seals, gaskets, and cylinder studs were replaced. Timing and valve gaps were reset to spec.Paint is not original on all painted surfaces, except the headlight bucket which is original, it is Rustoleum Engine Enamel. I disassembled and had it sandblasted before I painted it.There is not over spray everywhere. The paint looks good, but is not perfect in some spots.It has some "character"-minor pitting on fenders, some decent pitting on the rims, but all chrome still has a good shine-2 small walnut dents on the tank and 2 on the front fender-grips are worn through a tiny,tiny bit on the ends-seat has 2 small holes, but in OK shape overall-There was a small crack on the very bottom of the frame where the exhaust bolts on, previous owner said he jumped too big of a curb by accident. I had it welded. It has no effect on the structural integrity of the motorcycle, per motorcycle mechanic-It is a 46 year old motorcycle and some things are just not the way a newer motorcycle would beThis is a great motorcycle you can enjoy riding now and fixing the little things as you please or do a total restore if you wish.I bought this motorcycle from the second owner last summer and did a total refurbish job as a project.
