Vehicle Detail
$12,500 with only one set of wheels, you choose 20" chrome with good tires "or" factory rallys with new tires. If you want both the car is $13,000.00. Matching numbers even has the original carburetor that was just professionally rebuilt, original dual snorkel breather and cable drive points distributor on it. The number on the engine block is the same one on the vin and title. Engine is quite and strong, transmission shifts smooth, clutch is strong rear end is quiet, brakes are smooth and the steering has very little slack. Power steering, power brakes, power windows and F-41 heavy duty suspension package, 7 leaf rear spring. All the lights, gauges and wipers work. Interior is in "great condition" Dash pad, door panels, door seals, window seals and t-top seals have been replaced. The only interior flaw is a slit about 1.5 inch long in the passenger seat but its close to a seam so you don't see it. The steering wheel is perfectly straight when the wheels are straight. All the chrome is in excellent condition. Frame is rust free and floor pans are not cracked. Engine has been out at one time and repainted, transmission is clean on the outside and the rear end cover has orange sealer on it so im assuming the driveline has been rebuilt but I can not guarantee it. Comes with "one" set of wheels, 20s have great tires and the original rallys are very nice and have brand new BFG white letter tires (less than 100 miles). If you want both sets you will have to pay shipping, I will box them and take to the shipper for you. Its my daily driver and has been for the past two months "I drive it everyday everywhere I go". In the past two months ive drove it to Atlanta, Memphis, Knoxville and all over Tennessee, about 3,000 miles. I wouldn't think twice to take off to Miami in it right now. Fresh full tune up with AC Delco wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor button and points. All 4 calipers, rotors and pads have recently been replaced. new direct fit replacement OEM style oil pressure gauge (stays around 35 psi) engine is quiet no noises but the driver side exhaust manifold does need a donut gasket at the down pipe (its just spits a little, its not loud) suspension could some bushings, you can see some splits/separation in the upper front control arm bushings and the front upper differential mount cushion is worn and makes noise (its the rear end nose to frame bushing eBay item number: 3808814640890 $9.50), the tach cable broke last week (you can see where it slid out of the distributor eBay item number: 150904849352 $19.99) right power window motor is out, AC works but its not very cold. It was painted years ago I would say in the late 80s and its very close to the original color but a shade off (a little darker), it has a few small paint chips here and there but nothing bad. Factory paint code is 989 War Bonnet Yellow, its a bright metallic gold google it. I buy and sale 3 or 4 classic cars a year and use them for my daily driver so I know every problem and fix what needs attention, I like to leave a little work for the buyer so I can ask a reasonable price. Ive been doing this for over 20 years, sold and shipped cars all over the world through Ebay. 68-72 chrome bumper Vettes are very sought after. Clean clear Tennessee title in my name. Call, text or email, I get poor signal at home so if I don't answer please leave a message 615-753-2O9O. I will not relist it cheaper. If it don't sale ill have it painted fix a few things and relist it for $20k. I listed it local and have a lot of interest, this listing may end at anytime.
