1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ for sale. Adult Owned. Well-built Jeep, needs a little TLC. This will be the most honest listing you will see. Please take a minute and read the listing, in entirety, and look at the photos. I understand the are many gimmicks out there, and buying a vehicle online can be worrisome. If you have any questions I didn't cover, just ask. Before we start, a few points to cover: 1. I am a real human being, living in St. Louis, MO. I am not a scammer. I have been on ebay for many, many years. Look at my feedback, please. 2. No, I will not take any trades. 3. Sure- I'll end this early. Pay me in cash. 4. If you insist on Paypal, buyer will be responsible to pay any and all extra fees Paypal charges me. IE: if Paypal wants a certain percentage, the buyer will pay this prior to release of the vehicle. 4. I am not a car dealer, nor am I an ASE certified mechanic. I'm just a guy who likes Jeeps. I've had about 7 of them. I am not the end-all-be-all in Jeep knowledge, but if you have a question I can answer- just ask. 5. This vehicle is being sold in AS-IS condition. No returns. No warranties. It's a 21 year old vehicle. It's in good shape, but needs a few things to be perfect. 6. ASK questions! Thank you for reading this. Onto the description: The good: Clear title in hand. No liens, no deceased relatives on any paperwork. It's in my name, and will be signed over to you. 4 inch Rough country lift with 1 3/4 shackles. Cragar Soft 8 steel wheels w/ Goodyear MTR tires (about 60-70% tread) full spare. Warn 9000lb winch, wired for in-cab use. Tom Woods Slip Yolk Eliminator kit. Custom built front and rear bumpers w/ tow points. Very heavy duty. Class III receiver hitch. 3/16 body armor- wrap around to the rear, rocker sliders w/ steps & front flat fenders. CJ-7 Front end conversion. (real jeeps have round lights) Fog lights CD/MP3 player w/ overhead soundbar Newer Bestop "Supertop" (2010) Newer Bestop driver's seat (2010) New windshield, no chips or cracks (2012) Full carpeting, not installed, but included Bestop Safari bikini top Bestop tonneau cover Optima Yellow Top battery New alternator K&N air intake LED rear tail lights Ford 8.8 Rear axle. NOT INSTALLED, BUT INCLUDED IN SALE Hitch mount cargo rack included, but not pictured. The bad: It's a 21 year old Jeep. It's good, but not perfect. It runs well, but needs a little TLC to be perfect. Rear axle is Dana 35. It is NOT connected. I do NOT have the stock drive shaft. I put on the Tom Woods Slip Yolk Eliminator kit (SYE) and never got around to installing the Ford 8.8 rear axle, and therefore- never got around to getting the proper rear drive shaft. This is NOT a daily driver vehicle. In fact, I have put around 3 miles on it in the past year because I haven't completed the rear axle swap. I drove it around the block about once a month to start it up and cycle the motor through. I also kept it on a charger. The rear seal on the motor weeps a bit of oil. Anyone with basic 4.0 liter Jeep knowledge can assure you that this is a very normal issue. I have always used Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil. It needs motor mounts. I have a new set, and IF I can find them- they will go to the winning bidder/buyer. It needs a transmission mount. The switch to the fog lights is bad. The lights work fine (a bit of surface rust on them) but the switch needs replacing. Power steering reservoir mount cracked when changing over to the CJ-7 front end. It's rigged up and holds fluid, but looks ugly. The windshield fluid reservoir died, and was replaced with a large, plastic container. Works great, looks ugly. No A/C. Not that it's broken, it just doesn't have A/C. On a brighter note, the spot for the A/C would make for a fantastic Onboard Air point. The locks on the half doors don't lock. Not sure why. It's never been an issue for me, as I rarely had doors on it when I was driving it. Well, that's about it. As I mentioned- it's a 21 year old vehicle. It's in good shape, but needs some TLC to be perfect. The body and frame are straight. The paint is in fair shape (painted 2011 by yours truly...and I'm not a painter) the interior is in decent shape- nothing bad. Dash is in good shape. Carpet included in sale, but not currently installed. Top is in good shape. No tears or rips. Here's the skinny: I am not having a baby, nor do I have some woe-is-me story about why I have to sell it. The truth is- I don't have to sell it, I just want to. I've had about 7 Jeeps, and will have another some day, when I have more time for them. I am simply selling becaus eI don't have time to tinker, and do the axle swap. And by selling it, I will reclaim a large portion of my garage, which will undoubtedly make my wife happy. Unlike many others, I am not asking some ridiculous price. The starting bid is set for $3000 USD, with a Buy It Now at $4000. Not a bad deal for a solid Jeep with a ton of potential. Payment: A $500 deposit will be mandated at end of auction. This is non refundable. Please read these words again- NON REFUNDABLE. I have been burned once or twice here, and refuse to go down that road ever again. I prefer cash or money order. If by money order or bank check, I will require my banks clearance before releasing vehicle (Bank Of America). As stated above- if paying by Paypal, you will pay any fees associated with it's use. IE: If they want $100 for using their service, you will need to add the $100 (or whatever it is) to the final price. Shipping: I am not a shipper. If you need it shipped, I will help load it up, but I will not find a shipper for you. Payment must be made and CLEARED before releasing to buyer/shipping company. Returns: I am not a retail store. I am a person. This thing is 21 years old. There are no warranties, implied or otherwise, and I will not accept returns. Feedback: I have perfect feedback, and intend on keeping it that way. Before leaving any negative feedback, I would encourage you to read the entire listing, look at the pictures and ASK QUESTIONS. Test rides: Sure- we can do that. First, cash must be in my hand, and second- because the rear axle is not connected, it runs ONLY in fornt wheel drive. As such, it feels like a Cadillac with bad shocks. You are welcome to test drive so you can hear the motor, and feel it shift. Once again- this is listed locally for sale. I reserve the right to end this auction and cancel all bids with no warning.
