up for consideration:1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible. aprox 77,000 miles on O.D.O.runs. drives and stops.needs complete restoration. has some rust. mostly on the deck lid(needs repair or replaced). area on rear passenger floor pan needs patch work. the rest is solid. structurally appears strong. and drivers side front door also has some rust problems. would definitely need complete repaint/bodywork ect. this car had some work done to it. within the last 5 years it had a new radiator, new (remaned) carb, new gas tank, new brakes, lines and master cylinder.new fuel pump. plugs wires tune up, battery . the top goes up and down manually. the hydraulic pump is shot. the hoses will likely need to be replaced.top is currently put down. the canvas is completely dry rotted. I recommend having this car picked up by trailer or flatbed. I would not feel comfortable having some one drive it home do to the nature of being and old car with unknowns. the tires are older bias ply. and the starter is beginning to go bad.
