Somewhat reluctantly offering for sale my beautiful 1998 SL500. The only reason I'm selling the car is because my wife and I really need a four door vehicle to accomodate our grandchildren, guests on visits. This car has been well maintained and is in excellent condition inside and out. It is a lovely riding car with all systems functioning as they should. It has recently been serviced by the local Mercedes Dealership, oil change, filters, and brake fluid flush. It comes with the hard top, rack and cover. Some issues that you may want to address are: the tires are old I would recommend replacing same. The hard top roof liner requires minor service, ( as shown in photos), to tighten material. The radio is a Sony aftermarket radio with remote which I haven't been able to make work consistently. There are a couple of touched up small stone chips on hood front, otherwise the overall finish is in very nice condition.
