This is a cool classic muscle car with the potential to make a great street rod. It has been in storage for the past several years, and needs to be gone through before it goes on the road again. I have only owned the car for a short while and know little of its history, but will do my best to describe this project car accurately and show it as clearly as photos will allow. Feel free to ask any questions. Exterior: Overall, the exterior appears to be in quite good shape for a car of this age. Outer fender skins have been replaced. Right front inner fender wall needs replacement. All other inner fender walls are intact. There is some bubbling in paint at outer corners of back window, and outer corners of trunk lid. Inside of trunk lid is rusted along the edge beneath the back window. Door sills are solid, but show surface rust. The trunk floor is solid. Windows are all intact and operate smoothly. Doors are solid and work fine. The photos show the trim that’s in place, and there are a few extra trim pieces in the trunk. Interior: Seats are nice – clean upholstery with little wear. Headliner is torn above the front seats and on both back window pillars. Driver’s door armrest needs repair. Dash has cracks, as photos show. Carpet throughout is in nice shape, looks like it was replaced recently, Power train: Car has a 327 engine (engine code T0221HCH); speedo says mileage is 35,113; but I can’t verify the accuracy of that number. The engine turns over, but runs rough, smokes and stalls – engine and carburetor will need to be gone through before it’ll run. Also has a Sun mini-tach attached to the steering wheel. No battery (I put one of my own in to turn the engine over.) I had it running long enough to verify that the transmission works fine. The car needs to be towed or trailered.
