I'm selling my 1983 Mercedes 300SD (diesel). Loaded with all options for 1983 and they all work. Moonroof, AC, Heat, climate control, Becker AM/FM/Cass Power windows, locks, seats, cruise control ALL in working order. I'll include the custom fit sheep skin seat covers which were $300 last year when I purchased them. Drivers seat has been rebuilt and no longer sags. Factory engine block heater which works great with these cold NJ days we've been having. Currently has 146k miles and is used for casual driving around. No frame rust at all. New rear shocks installed a year ago. I put in an upgraded 95 amp alternator. I upgraded the headlights to euro version headlights. Factory 14" bunt rims were removed and put on newer W126 15" rims. This car drives beautifully down the road and shifts with no problem. For its age and size, the diesel engine get great gas mileage. MINOR issues- surface rust beginning on the passenger side wheel well area (visible in close up pice). There is a leak into the trunk (this is a common issue with the W126). I've tried to figure it out but can't diagnose it. It's not too bad but will wet the carpet in the low side wells of the trunk. Weather stripping is fine.
