Up for sale is my Beautiful Numbers Matching Boss. Many of you looking at this will know what a special car this is. For those of you not familiar with the 71 Boss 351, there were only 1,806 of these produced, only 600 or so known to still be in existence. Until recently, this was the fastest quarter-mile Mustang ever produced. She will outrun the Boss 302, the Boss 429, the Shelby's, and the Mach 1's in the quarter-mile. According to this car's Marti Report, she is a 1 of 1, no other built just like her. She is Bright Blue Metallic with White Standard interior. She was ordered with the following options (which she still retains): Power Steering, Rim-Blow Deluxe Steering Wheel, AM/8-Track Stereo Radio, Console, Tinted Glass-Complete, and Magnum 500 Chrome Wheels. This color combination with these options makes this Boss a very rare & desirable car. There is a very informative article on the Boss 351 in Hemming's Motor News, August 2006. Just Google 1971 Boss 351 Hemming's and it should be right at the top. This car is not fully restored, nor is she perfect. She is one hell of a driver though & very nice for the price. She does not have the original carb or distributor but I do have those available to the winning bidder. The carb is rebuilt & fully restored, the distributor is not. I will sell these to the winning bidder at my cost if he/she wishes to purchase them. I've had lots of fun with her, probably drive her much more than I should. I will be happy to answer any & all questions in regard to this car. Please though, don't waste my time or yours if you are not a serious bidder. This auction is open to overseas buyers and I will help to arrange shipping if needed.
