Vehicle Detail
1935 Chevy Coupe Street Rod - ALL STEEL original body. This car was professionally built in Wisconsin. The car was completely disassembled and a new frame was hand-fabricated with tubular crossmembers. The car features a GM 350 crate motor, Turbo 350 trans with mild shift kit, Mustang II IFS with tubular upper and lower A-arms, rack and pinion steering, Coilover shocks with chrome springs, 9-inch Ford rear end with 4-link rear suspension and coil-over shocks, tan vinyl interior, Chrome tilt column, Vintage Air that will freeze you out (seriously!), original seat - reinforced for a firm feel. I missed it in the pics, but there is a AM/FM CD player in an overhead console. Starter, headlight and wiper switches are hidden for a clean look, billet dash insert, trunk is also finished very nicely. All of the lights and turn signals work. The paint is great and the car is very detailed underneath. The frame is painted gloss black and all of the brake and fuel lines are very neat. This car needs nothing -The pictures speak for themselves. I also have a set of curved period-correct door mirrors that I will include. I also have a cloth car cover that goes with the car. I don't know what's under the canvas top, but it's solid and does not leak. This car has logged just over 2,000 miles since completion. I have owned quite a few street rods over the years and this is by far the best one. This car is built like a tank, the engine is tuned perfectly and it runs like a bat out of hell. Throttle response is amazing. Mufflers have a nice rumble but are not loud at all - idles very quietly, but you get the message when you romp on the gas! The shift kit is quick and will chirp the tires, but it won't snap your neck. I have owned the car for 18 months, but I had to move to a townhome and I don't have room for the car anymore. The previous owner spent nearly $75K having this car built. I am listing this car at a very reasonable price for a quick sale. I have a clear Texas title in hand, registered in MY NAME. There is no warranty of any kind and the car is sold as is/where is. Wire transfer or certified bank check are the only acceptable methods of payment. The car is stored in a climate-controlled shop and I will gladly keep it there until you can arrange for shipping. Please, NO TRADES...don't even ask. Ask all of your questions before bidding. Good luck! This car will be gone before you know it!
