Vehicle Detail

I am putting up for auction my 1970 Camaro Z28.It came with Power steering and Power brakes. Transmission is a rebuilt 4 speed M21 close ratio Muncie. Rearend has the original 4.10 gears with posi. At the moment it only has about 1 mile since finished. It runs and drives great. Selling to downsize to one classic car. New paint (Classic Copper Code 67), interior, exhaust, brake and fuel lines, shocks, gas tank, tires, brakes, battery, ect. Original Brake Booster, master cylinder, and horns are restored. I believe about everything works except tachometer will jump around sometimes. Bumper jack dated D70.Engine: Retains it's born with CTB code LT1 350-360hp completely rebuilt engine. Stamp on pad is V0420CTB. The partial VIN is stamped by the oil filter pad, as seen in the pictures.Casting date is D110 or April 11,1970. still has it's original 837 alternator dated April 17,1970. The bore is now +.030 using original GM LT1 forged 11 to 1 replacement 3942548 pistons. Has original 2690 casting crank at -.010 on the rods and mains.Has the original pink O rods. The rotating assembly is balanced.Has the stock oil pump and windage tray and pan. The 186 heads are both dated B160 and have been rebuilt using hardened exhaust valve seats for unleaded gas. They have new stainless 2.02 and 1.60 valves and new Z28 valve springs. The intake is the original 110 casting. The 4555 carb has been restored. The distributor is the 1112019 . Has the deep groove pulleys, crank(668) and water pump(3947824BV). New correct GM harmonic balancer . Camshaft is a new solid lifter reproduction of the original LT1 grind. Rocker arms are stamped with the O mark. Original 3973458N flywheel dated C110. The starter is an original 1108418 restored by Pirkle. Engine fan is original 772 dated D70. The water pump dated C40 was rebuilt. I have pictures of all the engine components at the rebuild.Paint and Body: Paint is about a year old using Dupont Chromabase basecoat clearcoat. The color is same that it came with , Code 67 Classic Copper. It has some metallic in it and looks very good. It has been wet sanded and buffed. Body is very straight. Underneath is very nice ,when the frame was off the underside was painted with the PPG red oxide epoxy primer as the factory did. The front end and doors are all original GM in very nice condition. All the metal from the doors back was replaced except the trunk lid. (full quarters, 1 piece trunk, wheel wells, and tail panel. All new tinted glass. The weatherstripping is new GM except for one piece.(driver door roof rail). I had the original front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. New Z28 fender, trunk emblems, door handles and locks. Interior: New seat covers, door panels ,headliner and console and carpet.. I had the AM radio and the speaker restored. The dash pad is nice with no cracks but it doe's have some curl showing by the passenger side windshield. I hear it is a common problem with these cars. Transmission: Rebuilt Muncie close ratio M21 with original rechromed shifter and all the original levers ,shift rods(including the rare reverse rod that is usually long gone).Stamped POD10B. Or, April 10,1970. Bellhousing is the 621.New GM clutch fork. New clutch.Rearend: Original 12 bolt stamped COO date 0424, which is the optional 4.10 with posi. Still retains the original GM gears and posi. Date casting is D80 or April 8,1970. If you need pictures of something or have any questions you can reach me at glenginn@yahoo.com or my phone # is 419-564-9491. You are welcome to inspect the car or have an independent inspector look at it before the auction ends. I will try and work with you. But please, this is an auction to sell, not come and inspect.
