1964 Volkswagen Dune Buggy. Motor was rebuilt in 2011. Starts right up, runs and drives good. A real head turner and plenty of thumbs up. My dad bought this a couple years ago and hardly drives it, so it needs to go. He told me the fiberglass body was dropped on a 1964 VW frame. Engine code reads AE 11Z802 located under the base plate for the alternator and oil filler. Code shows it as a 1971 1600tp engine. I think that means 1600cc with twin ports. The title reads 1964 Volkswagen 2 Door. Odometer says 73,393 miles, and I assume that is what the original car had when it was converted into a dune buggy. It is listed locally for sale as well. This automobile is street legal, clean title, licensed and registered in the state of Louisiana.
