I am selling my 68 Dodge dart that I have been working on for last 5 years. It started life as a California 6cly car and was going to be turned into a Hemi dart. So the car was stripped down , the rear wheels wells have been radius like a 68 Hurst Hemi Dart, the body was smoothed and painted with PPG Viper Red. It has new bumpers, weather striping, taillight lens, marker lights, windshield, all bright parts polished and cleaned or replaced. Underneath front suspension all rebuilt, new torsion bars, in the rear it has new super stock shocks, new super stock leaf springs. The front brakes are b-body disc brakes with new bearings, rotors, calipers and pads. Rear brakes are the 11 x 2 inch drums used on the original hemi darts, with all new drums, shoes, wheel cylinders. It has the 8 ¾ rear end with the 489 center section with new 391 gears and new possi unit, also has custom axles. The trans is a rebuilt 727 automatic with manual shift body, 2800 stall converter and new Cheetah Turbo Action shifter. Money did not allow for a hemi so it has a rebuilt healthy but streetable 440 with a mopar hydraulic cam, Edlebrock intake, 750 Holley carb, TCI headers, new Griffan aluminum radiator, electric fuel pump, Mallory ignition. The interior is all new, seats , headliner and carpet. Gauges have been rebuilt and lights, turn signals, brake lights all work. This is a really nice car, ultra clean and ready to enjoy. I have invested a ton of money and realize I won't recoup most of it. Here is your chance to step into a complete car for a fraction of the cost to build it.
