2002 VW Passat Wagon, 1.8 turbo , was running great till the engine/oil light came on; I stopped immediately and brought it to a local mechanic who changed the oil pressure sensor switch and did an oil change, no more warnings but as a result there is an upper engine noise, he(mechanic) said it could cost more than he thought it would be worth ...etc..to tear it down.I put new Michelin radial tires on it about 2000 miles ago($400), it has been a great commuter vehicle. please ask any questons..LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.
