Vehicle Detail

I just listed this car locally and have 5 people coming to look at it between tonight and Monday night. So just a fair warning I may end this auction before its completion Thanks This car has a DSO of 89 that means it was not sold to the public, Ford used it. For what I haven't tried to research it that far but they used the DSO 89 cars for all kinds of things. They gave them to execs to drive, they lent them out to ford big shots, they where used in movies, they where used in commercials, But it was not sent to a dealer to sell. I have no idea what this one was used for but I know there where not very many made in 65 with the DSO 89 tag So it is a rare car. So dose that translate into it being worth more money ? I guess that is up to whoever wants to make a offer I have no idea. If somebody has more info on this car and the DSO 89 cars please email me and let me know Thanks. See video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04PCzP6UzEE What I know. My friend bought 4 mustangs out of a barn in Tennessee about 5 years ago they have been sitting in his 2 garages ever since his wife finally had enough so he started selling them off I bought this one. My wife has convinced me since I work 60 hrs a week I don't have time to fix this up either so im going to pass it on. The car is a 1965 very early car made 1/21/1965 It has a 289 Eng c4 auto trans power steering power breaks and a power top. the top is gone it actually blew off when I was driving home. The power top works well it goes up and down like it should the motor runs rough. with no knocks or ticks and the trans shifts fine but it leaks it leaked all over my garage. the motor compartment and motor actually look like crap. most of the vacuum lines are dry rotted the motor and motor compartment will need a lot of work to look good and run good . The tiers are dry rotted it is a typical car that has been sitting for a very long time. don't let the photos fool you they make the paint look good but the paint is in bad shape the car needs a complete restoration. from what I have seen a early 1965 car with power breaks power steering and a power top is kind of rare to find.. I took lots of photos in my opinion it is a solid car for the most part inside the trunk looks good and the body seems solid the shock towers look good too. I took as many photos underneath as I could I am sure it needs work. Don't get me wrong I know this car needs a full restoration there is no question about that but when it is done you will have a very nice early mustang with lots of factory options. If you have any questions let me know I will do my best to answer them The color should be Caspian blue code H which is a darker blue I think the interior seats are actually in good shape it even has the original AM radio I have not turned it on to see if it works. But it is there. I would say the engine and trans are original to the car.
