All Original 1966 Bug. 100% All original paint never been hit. It does have some paint chips and shows normal for 48 years. The left rear bumper bracket was weak from rust and PO had pushed on the bumper and it broke. Putting a dent in the fender. There is also a dent in the left front fender. The body just has surface rust from rock chips. The running boards have been removed to check out the rockers and discarded by the PO. Rockers and floors are in great shape. There is some surface rust on the pan. The chrome and trim still shows great. All the glass is good. The interior is the best original one I've seen in many years. There is a rip and a small hole in the headliner , other than that it looks new. The dash is excellent. The seats also look new. The front floor mat, in excellent condition still has the original shift pattern on a sticker. All the wiring and lights work great. The gas tank still has the gas sticker that came on it from new. ( that sticker always melted off the first time it was over filled ) I replaced the gas tank ( saved the original ) and all the fuel hose's. I preped the motor to start it after years of indoor storage. It runs great. It's going a need a muffler and a rear seal. The transmission shifts and works like it should. It will need axle seals.
