Up for auction is a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 LT HD Crew Cab 4x4 Short box truck with the rare 8100 Big Block motor and Allison transmision. We are a car dealership ( AutoDrive Inc. ) in Fort Dodge Iowa, and we got this unit from it's second owner. This truck runs and drives great. No know problems or issues. The truck is rust free. There are a few rock chips on the lower rockers, but for having a few miles on it, the truck is very nice. This truck has leather interior, all power options, and an aftermarket CD player. The tires are about 40-50% tread remaining. They are Firestone Destination M/T and they are mounted on the factory alloy wheels. I have personally driven this truck and can tell you it handles, drives, starts and runs just like it should. This truck has A LOT more power compared to 6.0 gas motor, and it get about as good of fuel mileage. I have found the 8.1 liter to be ultra reliable, and in towing situations, they get better fuel mileage than their smaller cousin the 6.0.
