Vehicle Detail

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Convertible. X-11 car built the 3rd week of April, 1969. Cortez Silver with black stripes. Rotisserie restoration was started in 2005 by previous owner and completed by me in June 2011 . Since the end of the first phase of the restoration, approximately 3000 miles have been put on the car (only 1400 by me). I don't have a lot of information regarding what was done during the first phase of the restoration, but I can tell you that the car is solid and straight and was done very professionally. The chassis was completely worked over from front suspension to rear end including the brake system which consists of front disc brakes and rear drum brakes and all new brake lines. All new suspension parts including front OE style coil springs and rear leaf springs were installed. The drive train consists of a "Dealer Warranty" replacement 350 cu.in. engine (I believe it’s a 1971 block) which was torn down and completely rebuilt to 300 h.p. specs by the previous owner (I installed a new Carb, a set of Ceramic Coated headers and a high torque starter), a completely rebuilt numbers matching Muncie M-20 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter and a 10 bolt rear end. The vacuum operated hide-away head light system has been replaced by a Detroit Speed electric actuated unit and works flawlessly. I have kept the vacuum operated set up and it will go along with the car. This beautiful Camaro Convertible sits on a full set of new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 raised white letter tires on stock 15" Camaro rally wheels. It has a steel Cowl induction hood, but still needs the mechanical components for full operation. I had the convertible top replaced with a new Robbins top with a factory style zip in/out rear window, and the complete convertible frame was restored to original condition. The interior is in excellent condition with no cuts or tears. The speedometer and clock are new as well. A stock AM-FM radio is mounted into the dash but is not hooked up. I have a hidden system hooked up where you can plug your smartphone or MP3 player in so that you can listen to your own music. Asking $47,00000 or best offer. Buyer to pay $1000.00 deposit thru PayPal within 48 hours after purchase with the balance to be paid in cash or bank wire transfer at time of pickup. The car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove this listing at any time. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
