Ok, lets try this again. I would like apologize to all the bidders who bid on my car during the first two auctions. Ebay pulled two listings and I wanted to get the correct vin number and add some pics to the third listing. Didn't want any problems because the vin number wasn't listed..... Anyway... For sale is a 1964 Mercury Comet, altered wheelbase front and rear with an straight axle... drum brakes. The engine is a 351 Windsor with a automatic trans. Mild build engine, stock or low stahl with a 8``posi rear end low gears...probably stock . Car runs good, trans works as it should. Has head lights and tail lights and brake lights. Turn signals are wired but not hooked up, would need switch installed. Interior consists of a stock dash with two 67 Shelby bucket seats...no carpet or headliner but bows are there. Have white fiberboard panels for the doors , kick panels and rear panels and a roll of gold metallic vinyl material to cover the panels with. Trunk has stock gas tank, battery and cut off switch. Tires are like new as are the wheels. Tilt steel front end with bars to hold it open. Has an aluminum radiator, the engine has fake injector stacks with a Holley carb under it. I have a new never used 351 blower manifold and a core 671 blower I would sell for an additional $600 on top of purchase price if winner wants it. This car is cool and built like they were back in the day... Not perfect but VERY COOL ! Everyone that sees it loves it ...Paint is amateur quality with a couple of blisters in the paint... Not Rust or filler bubbling ... Just paint blistering... Not very noticeable , easy fix... want to be clear. Lettering is vinyl and can be removed easily. I bought the car to go nostalgia racing and had no interest in driving it on the road. My plan was to swap in a 9`` rear end, install a cage, install a blower and have some fun. The only reason im selling this is to possibly pick up a car I have my eye on and help fund another project..... If you are looking for a car to drive cross country , this isn't it.
