Up for bid is a 1998 BMW 540I for sale, the overall condition is really good exterior silver and black interior, interior is in excellent condition no tear or rip bottom driver seat cover is loose, will need front cup holder and back, the cup wouldn’t release so I took them out for replacement but you can get them on eBay for cheap also driver side window latch is missing I saw one on eBay for $15.00.with a little investment this BMW 540I will make winning bidder very happy. Car start and run. Since I bought the car I have not had a mechanic run a complete dynastic on it, most of the fixes on this car could be just minor stuff but that’s a chance you would have to take be prepare to bring a dolly when picking up the car. Check engine light is on brake light, and transmission fail-safe comes up when car is in motion it could be just a bad sensor the car goes into fail-safe to prevent damage to the transmission. Car is not register so I can only drive it in my neighborhood, I strongly recommend anybody interested to come and inspect the car for themselves, for the potential far away bidder I will try to the best of ability to list everything and give as much info so you can have a sense of what this car might need as far as fixing. Exterior is in fair shape showing small ding and scratches, front hood have a ding and right front grill need replace, driver side front fender have a ding but I do have replacement fender to give you same color match. Rims are after market and personally I think they look good on the car and will need to be restored. Tire has about half-life left on them no spare tire and only one remote key. Battery is very good shape and hold charge. I was aware of all of these fixing when I got the car its hard to see it go, for a BMW enthusiast this beautiful BMW can be a nice car after all fixes, then again can’t really beat silver and black.
