Rare 1965 Renault R8 1100 Sedan. Has only 53K original miles and is in excellent running condition with 4 speed manual transmission. I am only the second owner of this car, the original owner was from North Carolina, bought it new and left it in storage for over 40 years. I have owned this car for 4 years and had a Renault mechanic maintain everything on the car and it runs well. New tires, shocks, clutch, belt, hoses, radiator, battery all within the past 2 years. Everything works, drives and handles great. Can be used daily. Great around town and good on gas. The body is accident free with original paint. There is some minor surface rust in places where the paint is thin, but no holes, overall very solid body. The interior is in very good condition, the seats are very comfortable. A $500 deposit of is due within 48 hours of auction close either via PayPal, wire transfer or cash. $300 of that deposit is non-refundable (I must require this in case the buyer doesnt follow though, so I can be paid for my wasted time). Full payment due within 7 days by same forms of payment. The buyer is responsible for pickup within 30 days and any costs relating to pickup or shipping. This is a 48 year old car, it is in very good condition and has been well maintained for that age, but is far from perfect as any car this old would be.
