This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of these hard to find motorcycles. I have owned it more than 10 years and have accumulated over time all the hard to find parts. It was my original intention to restore it but it is a duplicate in my collection. People over the years have asked if I would sell one of my Ferraris and I always declined but now, of course, I have forgotten who asked me!! The bike is a matching number 150 SPORT. 150cc. 2 stroke. 4 speed. Running and riding condition. Brand new San Remo rims with new zinc plated spokes and correct new hard to find N.O.S. Pirelli tires. Correct Ferrari grips and footpeg rubbers. Needs a cosmetic restoration and chroming. There are two dents in the gas tank. Ferrari motorcycles were manufactured by two Italian brothers called FERRARI (a fairly common name in Italy) and the first model was presented at the Milan show in 1952. Enzo Ferrari (of car fame) was very upset and sued the two brothers for using the same name as the cars. A legal battle ensued and for 1954 the motorcycles had to display the words "Fratelli Ferrari" ("Ferrari brothers). The legal costs slowed down production and less and less bikes were made until fizzling out in 1956. Speedo reads 99,846kms!!! I somehow don't think this is the actual mileage for this 150cc two stroke! Included with the sale are two brand new correct "Fratelli Ferrari" decals for the gas tank once restored.
