Up for auction is my 1956 Oval Window Ragtop. The car is located in Austin,TX - I am having a friend post it for me. You will be hard pressed to find one nicer. I looked for many years before finding this beautiful machine. It has about 4,000 miles since the complete restoration. Driven on sunny days and weekends and to local car shows. The car has had a complete pan off restoration with new pans replaced and finished with satin black powder coat. Top and bottom 2 inch narrowed adjustable beam with front and rear disk brakes, pro street trans with freeway flyer 4th & 4.12 R&P welded 3rd and 4th with H/D side plate. Sway bars front and camber compensator rear. Truss Bar also installed. Very nice and straight body with single stage black paint. Correct 4 tab hood and W deck lid, new headlights and snowflake tail lights new bumpers and moldings, running boards and pop out quarter windows. 1pc door glass, stay fast canvas sliding roof in black. Wheels are restored and polished real Fuch wheels 15 by 5.5 front, with 145/15 tires front and 215/60/15 rear (15x6 deep rears). 15x5 spare. The interior has custom Subaru seats in tan vinyl with recline and height adjustment custom rear seat. Door trim panels in vinyl and suede, headliner in tan suede, Koch restored steering wheel 80mph speedometer and custom 90mph speedometer. Center grille with Tachometer, new rebuilt pedals, Empi Shifter, wiring harness as well. The engine is a 2332cc built by the late and well known Mark Herbert, 84mm crank by 94mm pistons full flow with filter and cooler with fan 7qt system. Never runs hot even in 100+ degree temps. 48 IDA Webbers and MSD ignition system with 6al box, 42mm by 37mm ported heads, 120 Engle cam with 1.25 rockers and 75 amp alternator, chrome engine tins and shroud. Engine made 160hp on Jaycees Dyno & 130hp to the wheels. Car has stage 1 clutch and Cushlok disk. Car is very reliable and fast. I’m not too good with email.
