I'm selling my 1995 jeep Cherokee off road machine this is one of the nicest Cherokees in the country there was not one expense spared over $35,000 in receipts I have a huge folder on it. The jeep has a 2004 all aluminum ls1 V8 GTO engine 345hp the motor is about a 110 pounds lighter then the original motor that came out and make almost twice the power. The transmission is a 4L60 out of GTO. The transfer case is out of a dodge 1500 and it was purchased brand new. The engine and transmission were bought from wrecking yard and both came with title of ownership. The paper states the GTO had 58,000miles on it when it was wrecked. All Novak conversion parts were used for the engine and transmission swap this includes radiator, motor mounts, headers, transfercase shifter, cross member, electric fans, air cleaner, etc. To put this swap in a Cherokee it will set you back at least $10,000 if it is done right. The AC still works and blows cold nobody usually ever bothers but this swap is just like the factory did it. All factory gauges work except speedo I always used gps. The front axle is a currie hybrid based on a ford nine inch the axle was close to $5,000 it has a Detroit locker in it, the rear end is a ford explorer 8.8 with disc brakes. electric locker, c clip eleminter kit. Both axles have 4.56 gears. The suspension is long arm 4.5 with bilstein shocks very nice ride and flexes very well. Tires are 35inch bfg rockcrawlers with at least 85 percent tread. Optima battery. Rockcrawler fenders very strong and very expensive they are powder coated and are a work of art. Full roll cage, tv with back up camera, cd player, warn winch with wireless control, rock sliders, tube bumpers, aftermarket tail lights, mandrel bent 3inch exhaust with 3 chamber flowmaster. This Cherokee drives almost perfect and is extremely reliable I have driven it from Oregon to California and back in 100 degree temps with my 5 month old baby with zero issues. I have done all kinds of trails never and any issues. The jeep is way nicer to drive with the swap you can cruise at 75mph all day where before it would kind of struggle and gas mileage is about the same it averages around 14 to 15 mpg. This jeep is turn key dialed I hardly ever use it and I'm in the process of buying another business so I could use the money but don't really need to sell it.
