Are you ready to take this baby out to the lake and throw a couple sleeping bags in the back? If so up for grabs is my 1985 Toyota SR5 pickup. I built this truck to look like Marty McFlys truck from Back To The Future. Ca truck so no rust problems here. This is your chance to get the correct year replica Marty Mcfly truck at a price below of what I put into her.. I put just about 18k into her with everything listed below. You can buy a 85 for about 3k but you will spend a lot more getting her to look like this. All of the work is done for you. Most replicas are not the correct year. Truck has a fresh paint job with Warranty. About 1000 miles on the EFI 22rec motor rebuilt by Action Cylinder heads in Santee , Ca. I also had the complete drivetrain rebuilt by M.I.T. drivetrain specialists in El Cajon, Ca. Both under warranty. Truck drives like new. Also has new starter and brake master cylinder. Custom made light bar. (couldn't find a original Toyota bar in good condition) I spent all of last summer stripping the paint, taking out broken interior pieces and replacing with fresh ones. Seats have seat covers because I was looking for the SR5 covers or seats in better condition but never came across them. Almost impossible to find. car recently backed into the trucks passenger rear side making a softball sized dent. $200 fix from body shop. Frame is straight. I pulled all of the old carpet. Dynomatted the entire cab. Before I put the new carpet in I took the truck to Al & Eds autosound where the installed all of the wiring for the upgraded replacement speakers and Pioneer head unit. (alpine 3.5 2 way up front and Focal 6.5 2way in the back powered by a new 4 channel alpine amp. There is also a 10w3 JL audio sub behind the drivers seat also powered by a new Alpine amp. Both amps are on a rack behind passenger seat.) Ipod plug in the glove compartment. Truck is also wired for Sirius satellite radio with sat antenna on roof. No wires are touching or laying on the headers. They are a good distance away and in no way are in danger of touching the engine or headers. Truck sounds great with no rattle from the sub. ( I put a ton of dynomat in the cab) All wires are hidden under the new carpet. Truck runs and drives like new. Shifts smooth and the 4x4 works. 3 switches for the KC lights. 1 for the front bumper lights and 2 for the 4 up top. Correct lift, wheels and tire size. I have the 4x4 mud flaps that come with the truck but they are not installed. Custom "Statler Toyota" license plate frame. I'm only selling because its on to the next project. I love driving this truck. I often have people coming up to me saying what a nice truck it is and yelling out Marty when I drive by. Drove the truck to Comic Con in July and people were going nuts over it. (Not really a SDCC exclusive)
