A friend of mine purchased this vehicle for me not knowing I was in the process of purchasing a different vehicle myself. Being just me, I do not need two vehicles and therefore am just trying to get my friend their money back. After purchasing for me, it did have the axel seal fixed because it had a slight leak, other than that, I do not know much about the car. I have driven it twice and it runs great and drives very well! It was purchased off of eBay before, so my friend provided me with the previous owners description of the car as well to post here. I have had the Echo for approximately a year. I am a non-smoker and have no pets; however, the previous owner was a smoker. There is a small cigarette burn on the front of the back of the driver's seat. I have changed the oil and filter every 3 months, even though I have only put 300 or 400 miles on it. It had been freshly painted when I bought it. The previous owner said the reason for painting was to put a new face on it and not due to an accident. He also had just bought and installed a new stereo/CD. The car runs and drives well. The gas mileage is excellent for a non-hybrid - 40 city and at least 45 on the highway. The engine is 1.5 liter, which was eventually put in the Yaris and finally the gas engine in the Prius Hybrid. I am selling this car because we don't need to have a car sitting in the garage that we don't use.
