Vehicle Detail

I bought this Stingray in June of 2010 after I returned from a deployment. I have to sell it because I am going to be stationed in Texas and can not take it with me. That is the sole reason for selling it. If I could keep it, I would. I drive it about once a month to work and back. It drives just fine, although it runs a bit rich. I'm not mechanically inclined enough to mess with the carburetor. The man that I purchased it from acquired it from a guy in the Coast Guard that had it in storage for a few years. The interior seats and carpet look to be redone and not original. It also does not have the factory radio. It was repainted several years ago because the VIN says that it was originally gold in color. There are a few spots where the paint on the exterior of the car is starting to bubble up, but it has been like that since I bought it. It has headers and an exhaust on it, other than that, I think most of the stuff is the original equipment. The wheel covers are the metal ones, not the plastic knock offs for example. For a 44 year old car it's in awesome shape in my opinion. I've never had any issues with it in the years that I've owned it. I get compliments on it every time I take it out. You can fix it up some more or leave it as is. I don't think that the engine has been rebuilt, or anything else for that matter, but not 100% sure. There is a tiny bit of oil that leaks from the valve gasket on top of the engine, I just never got around to replacing it. I only tinkered with the car some. It was too much fun to drive. If you have any questions at all or want specific pictures, feel free to contact me. As I stated, I'm in the military so I might not be able to respond immediately, but I will get back with you. The car is located in Riverview Florida, close to Tampa and I do have the clear Title in hand. I will work with whoever buys the car to have it shipped to them, but the buyer must pay the shipping fee. Thanks for looking!
